Please note that all our services and projects have been adversely affected by Covid19. Some projects are not currently running and other projects that are open are running a restricted service. Please contact ELHAP for further information about our services and Covid19 disruptions.
We offer a range of service to children with disabilities or disadvantage, including:
ELHAP runs holiday playschemes and term time Saturday Clubs throughout the year for disabled and disadvantaged children from across East London and Essex areas. We run Saturday Clubs every fortnight throughout term time and run holiday playschemes in every school holiday. All our playschemes provide much needed adventure play opportunities. ELHAP believes every child needs to have fun, to make mess, to have time and space to be themselves.
Siblings of disabled children can attend holiday playschemes and Saturday Clubs throughout the year at no cost. ELHAP currently charitably funds this project because we are committed to supporting the whole family - too often siblings are overlooked by providers. We have been supporting siblings now for over 10 years.Siblings can attend if they meet the following criteria:
School visits are currently suspended due to Covid19. We are hoping to restart in Autumn 2021 - if you are interested in visiting ELHAP, please don't hesitate to contact us.
The Stay and Play Scheme is currently suspended due to Covid19. We apologise for any inconvenience - we are hoping to restart this service soon.
ELHAP Bridge can offer short term placements to “bridge the gap” for some of the children and young people left without school, college or day service provision due to Coronavirus. It may be particularly suitable for children & young people who are not in education or training, whose school place may be at risk. For more information, please click here.
