Fundraising ideas

Get Fundraising and Have Fun!

There are so many ways you can fundraise - as well as supporting a great cause, it can be a way to get fit, meet new people and have fun with friends and family.

Here are some ideas on how you can fundraise on your own and through your networks.

Challenges

The sky's the limit when it comes to sports challenges. You could sign up for a well-known national challenge such as Tough Mudder or a local one such as Essex 100 Cycle ride.

You could also take part in local challenges that are specifically supporting ELHAP: Roding Half Marathon (Sunday 3rd March) and the Danceathon (Sunday 28th April)

Getting creative and coming up with your own tailor-made challenge can also be great fun - 48 hours of silence could be a challenge for a chatterbox, while swimming 50 lengths of your local pool might be the perfect challenge for others.

Organising an Event

Organising your own event is a fantastic way of raising money for ELHAP while getting together with friends. You could have a party and charge an entry fee, organise a quiz night at your local pub, or arrange a Bake Off at work.

Get your Workplace Involved

Recommend us to your workplace. Many businesses support charities through their CSR scheme but every little helps so even an in office bake sale can be great way to raise money for ELHAP.

Recent Fundraising Case studies

Tony received a signed Chelsea F.C football through his contacts. He used the ball as the prize for an online raffle among family, friends and raised £725.

Jess set up a JustGiving page and asked for donations to ELHAP in lieu of birthday presents. She raised £675 for ELHAP.

Luke set up a JustGiving page and offered himself for hire. No task or dare was too big or too small if the price was right, and once the donation was made he carried out the dare. He raised £680!
