Monday Madness: Adventure Disco

When?

What?

Why wait until the weekend to party? Let’s start the week off with a boogie! Our Resident ELHAP DJ Reefy (Sharif) will be spinning all your favorite pop tunes and Kelvin will be there to join in on the fun too!

The Magic of Mindfulness

When?

Start of a new series exploring mindfulness, as Kelvin shares accessible exercises and activities for the whole family, to promote better physical and mental health

ELHAP Yoga with Ella

An accessible yoga class led by qualified Yoga instructor Ella (who is also a playworker at ELHAP!)

Get Active with ELHAP Workshop

When?

What?

An ELHAP inspired follow-along workout for the whole family to get involved with from the comfort of your own home! Get moving, work up a sweat and have fun!

Explore ELHAP Workshop

When?

Thursday 14th May at 10:00am

What?

Come and join our fun virtual ELHAP Playground experience as we climb, jump, swing and cycle our way through the ELHAP playground.

ELHAP Weekly Challenge

When?

Friday 15th May at 10:00am

What?

This week’s challenge is the Fun Photo Challenge. All you have to do is send us a photo of you having fun!

Alongside this, we will post a video the day after on our YouTube channel of an ELHAP Staff Member taking part in the challenge to try and help inspire you!

Rules for ELHAP Weekly Challenge

The prize draw for the ELHAP Weekly Challenge is only open to current ELHAP registered families
One entry per child/young person per ELHAP Weekly Challenge
To enter we must receive a photo of the child/young person’s creation (we cannot accept an email without a photo of the ELHAP Weekly Challenge). Please also try to send in a photo of your child/young person with their creation
All entries are to be sent by email to [email protected] by 12pm on the Wednesday after the ELHAP Weekly Challenge (so if the weekly challenge went live on Friday 15th May, the deadline is at 12pm on Wednesday 20^th May)
Please make sure you state your child/young person’s name in the email so we can record which photo is for which child/young person
We cannot accept postal, SMS or social media entries at this time
We will contact you after you have entered the ELHAP Weekly Challenge to seek your permission regarding publishing photos of your child/young person’s creation on social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc) and creating a short video of all the children/young people’s creations
Every child/young person who enters will be put into a randomised draw. Names will be placed into a hat and the first name drawn will be the winner
The draw will be conducted on the Thursday after the closing date
The winner will be informed by email on the Friday after the closing date
The winner will win a £25 voucher for one of the following: Amazon, Smyths Toys or Argos

ELHAP provides adventure play opportunities to children and young people with disabilities and complex care needs, from all over North East London and Essex.
School visits

Would you like to bring a class group to ELHAP for an adventure play session? We offer morning and afternoon sessions during term time.
Adventure Play For All - Playscheme

Our Playscheme operates throughout all the school holidays and alternate Saturdays, for children aged between 6 and 18.

Children and young people with disabilities can attend ELHAP through our 'Stay and Play' scheme.
The difference we make

ELHAP's services enable children and young people to experience the magic, freedom, creativity, fun and challenges of inclusive adventure play. These experiences impact on our service users in so many positive ways.
ELHAP Bridge

ELHAP Bridge can offer short term placements to “bridge the gap” for some of the children and young people left without school, college or day service provision due to Coronavirus. It may be particularly suitable for children & young people who are not in education or training, whose school place may be at risk.
